Silexica appoints new Vice President Product

San Jose, CA –September 2018– Silexica, the leading provider of multicore programming solutions, has appointed Jordon Inkeles as Vice President Product.

Jordon brings 20+ years of experience in marketing and product management. His role at Intel PSG (Programmable Solutions Group) included leading product and corporate strategy, driving a $1 billion product line, building high-performance marketing teams and driving go-to-market strategies. Most recently, he was Director of Marketing for Intel’s Flagship Stratix Series FPGA family. For 16 years as part of Altera, before its acquisition by Intel in 2015, Jordon held senior marketing and product management positions for FPGA product families, EDA software including OpenCL, IP (Intellectual Property) and corporate marketing/communication teams.

Jordon’s role is to drive Silexica’s product strategy including product planning and management, product marketing and corporate marketing functions. He will lead Silexica’s product success in vertical markets such as autonomous driving, 5G wireless, embedded vision, industrial IoT, data center, aerospace and defense.

“Today, we are seeing computing at the edge move towards a high-performance heterogeneous world. The need for high performance is requiring a greater understanding of C/C++ code to maximize parallelism for multi-core CPUs and heterogeneous cores,” says Jordon Inkeles, VP Product at Silexica. “Our SLX tools enable embedded SW/HW engineers at the edge to make the transition from a single core CPU and low-performance multi-core CPU development to a high-performance heterogeneous compute world.”

“With Jordon’s experience and expertise, we are ready to focus Silexica in key markets and build a sustainable long-term business model,” says Maximilian Odendahl, CEO at Silexica. “More and more companies now see the benefits of SLX for heterogeneous computing, and Jordon’s role is to define our next generation products, take them to market and to exceed our long-term growth strategy.”

Prior to Intel and Altera, Jordon had various product management and marketing positions at Semtech and Xicor. He has a spouse, two children and lives in Santa Cruz, California.
