Silexica appoints new President for Silexica Japan
Yokohama, Japan, 29 January 2018 – Silexica, the leading provider of multicore programming tools, has appointed Kawahara Tsunemori as President of its Japanese subsidiary.
Kawahara has been working with Silexica as a sales representative since the company was founded in 2014 and has helped grow the Japanese market into one of Silexica’s most successful. Customers using the SLX programming tools include Fujitsu and DENSO CORP. He now takes on added responsibilities as President in Silexica’s Japanese office to further grow domestic sales.
“I have been involved with Silexica since day one and it has been an honor to be part of the growth and success so far,” says Kawahara Tsunemori, President, Silexica Japan. “There is so much more to come as SLX gets stronger which will benefit our existing customers in the automotive and 5G industries, as well in new markets. I am very excited about our future.”
Silexica developed the industry-first FPGA development tool that offers HW/SW partitioning analysis by identifying parallelism and performing automatic pragma insertion. SLX C/C++ performs static and dynamic code analysis providing deep system level, actionable insights, which otherwise would not be possible with conventional software development tools. Both are proving popular in Japan as companies seek to program heterogenous computers used in applications such as (autonomous) automobiles, 5G communications and aerospace products. The Silexica team in Japan has grown to include two Field Application Engineers who work directly with customers to ensure customer success.
“Kawahara-san’s commitment over the past four years has seen SLX become a leading tool for heterogeneous multicore programming in Japan,” says Maximilian Odendahl, CEO at Silexica. “Our SLX tools enable embedded engineers and software developers to make the transition to a high-performance heterogeneous compute world. It is great that Kawahara-san will lead our operations and services to existing customers and seek new business opportunities in Japan.”
